Capellini nests (like all pasta and noodles) is a versatile ingredient in the kitchen. It can be cooked in a variety of ways, both sweet and savoury. This is a favorite recipe that has been passed down to me by my mother. She used to cook this dish whenever she received unexpected visitors as it was easy to cook as well as being tasty and so versatile. It can be a very simple dish with just the pasta, sugar and oil or can be made elaborate with the addition of dried fruits and/or nuts. It can be served for breakfast, lunch or dinner as the main dish, side dish, filler dish or as a dessert. Spoiled for choice with its versatility, I can assure you that you will be cooking this regularly!
