ROSE SYRUP (ROSE SHERBET)
Rose Syrup is basically Rose essence fragrant syrup used to flavour water, milk, or yoghut. It is usually served chilled to quench thirst in any hot weather. It is a popularly known as Rose sherbet drink among Muslims and frequently used during the Month of Ramadhan or served during Eid celebrations, but you can drink it anytime you like.

1)The ratio of water to sugar is 1:2. If you add more water than sugar, you will need to boil for a longer period of time to get the thick syrup consistency. (Commercially made syrup has citric acid added to prevent the sugar from re-crystallizing over a long period of time). You do not need to add any lemon extract if making a small batch which will be used over a short period of time).
