EAST AFRICAN KEBABS: MISHKAKI
Mishkaki (singular: Mshkaki) is a delicacy, East African meat kebab, usually served in the evening as a street food. The meat of choice is usually beef but can also be made from lamb or chicken. It is usually cooked over charcoal similar to barbecue, a delicious street food that has found its way from the streets and into our home.
More information & tips
1) If you do not have raw pawpaw, you can substitute with Kiwi fruit, tamarind (paste) or yogurt. They all help soften the meat.
