The secret to fully popped kernels without burning is to use fresh kernels, let the oil heat up to right temperature, and using a pan large enough so that all the kernels are laying in one level! 1) Always make sure that you are supervising your popcorn while it is popping. It can easily burn and become a fire hazard!Using a heavy bottom pan helps stops the pan and popcorn burning.
2) Season your popcorn while still warm, I find that they flavour sticks more compared to seasoning when the popcorn is cold.
