FRIED CASSAVA CRISPS
Cassava crisps would be a savoury gluten free variation to potato crisps. Usually served as a snack. Can be eaten at anytime of the day and seasoned with chilli/salt and/or lime.

1) To ensure that you do not get a soggy snack, ensure the oil is very hot before cooking slicing the cassava directly to avoid them absorbing too much oil during the cooking process.
2) If you can, grate them directly into the hot oil as this stops the crisps sticking together and become soggy.
3) Do not eat raw cassava. It contains cyanide which is poisonous!
